Black Box Controller – recently a freight company faced an issue on how to diagnose and rectify problems with parcels that were “rejected” from their automated distribution centre system. As these parcels must be handled quickly and efficiently to ensure delivery times, they needed a solution that would assist in re-introducing these items back into the automated system and ensure that they were identified correctly for delivery.

INTERMAX manufactured a black box solution that enabled the parcels to be scanned and create a correct identification label, or if the box was unable to scan, to quickly produce a substitute label that would fix the fault, allowing the parcel to be immediately re-introduced back into the automated sortation system ready for delivery.
